What sort of support should I expect to receive after my lesson? When booking weekly lessons in blocks, you will enjoy full and unlimited access to my support between the lessons. This means that you can always reach me between the lessons to ask any questions. Let's say you've had your lesson on Monday. On Wednesday, while practising at home, you have a question about the tricky bit in the score. Usually, the teachers would expect to answer your questions in the following lesson. However, this is not the case with me. My availability between classes is included in the cost of your lessons. Simply message me your question, and I will answer within 24 hours. You can even attach a video or an audio file to demonstrate the problem. I will then prepare a concise but detailed reply that may include a tutorial on your question. And the good thing is that all of this extra material does not expire. It is yours to keep and revisit while you are a member of my class. Your journal is private and confidential. Only you and I can see the videos and other correspondence. When you no longer require my services, the portal's content, including all tutorials and correspondence, is permanently destroyed. When booking single lessons, you are in charge of the frequency of the lessons, and as such, you may want to take weekly, fortnightly, or monthly lessons, which means that I will not be able to support you unlimitedly. However, I always aim to help as much as I can. You can contact me for help within 24 hours after the lesson. You will also get one free score per lesson.

Do you provide your services online or remotely?Yes, I teach online worldwide! I use a multi-camera setup and the most up-to-date technology, making your learning just as good and effective as in-person: one of my online US students has won First Prize Prize in the Spot on Talent piano competition, 2022. My online lessons feature the same package as in-person lessons and are of the same superb quality! I use the most up-to-date equipment to deliver the highest technicality and precision. The distance is no longer an issue. My recent excellent reviews can vouch for this statement.

Why should I choose you?I offer tuition at your home, at my studio and online. I have a professional portable 88-key keyboard with weighted keys, a stand and a stool that I can bring with me if you do not yet have a piano. This service is free. I am happy to accommodate lessons outside normal hours such as early morning (7am-10am), late night (8pm-10.30pm) and weekend lessons. I work with children as young as 3 years of age. I have 14 years of experience teaching piano online and in person and have extensive experience in coaching towards piano competitions and the UK and international graded examinations. I provide scores, blank manuscripts, books and recordings, all of which included in the price of your lessons. I teach music theory as part of every piano lesson, which means that all students can read music and play the instrument. I will cover the cost of one ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall or RMC exam admission per year (block bookings only). I will cover the cost of one international or in-land piano competition admission per year (block bookings only).

What do you love most about your job?I love that feeling of utmost content when the student finally understands the topic. I love sharing knowledge and positive vibes. My work recharges me and makes me happy. I always finish my day smiling :)

What inspired you to start your own school?Since I was a child, I wanted to become a piano teacher. While at primary school, I started to attempt to teach piano to my friends. I loved it so much that I continued teaching through high school and university. I've noticed that every lesson recharges my batteries as if I had a week of holiday. Opening my own school was a natural progression.

Can I learn piano using free YouTube videos? As a professional online piano instructor over my career, I have seen many beginner students who came to me with all sorts of bad habits that prevented them from advancing past a certain point. Once I have helped them eliminate these problems, their technique improved, and they achieved some great results. So the answer is yes, it is possible to learn without a teacher using free YouTube videos, but you most likely will pick up some bad habits, which in the long run will cost you much more money to fix. In addition to that, you will most definitely spend many hours searching the internet for bits of information, more than half of which is incorrect anyway. This can be a very frustrating and lonely place to be and will most likely put you off learning piano altogether. Think how much time and frustration you would save yourself by opting for professional help.

Am I too old to learn piano? You are never too old to learn piano! Some people believe that starting to learn piano later in life is not as effective as in childhood, which is a myth. There is no scientific evidence to back this belief. The only obstacle you might face as an adult learner is limited time for practice due to work or family. Tchaikovsky, for example, became a professional musician only in his adulthood after ditching his career as a civil servant.
